Peter Houston

Peter's professional journey spans 22 years in the Army followed by another 7 years as a primary school teacher. Seeking new challenges, he transitioned into the financial services industry, drawn to the technical intricacies it offered. Peter has now found his niche as a paraplanner.

In his role, Peter leverages his background as a military analyst with the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) to scrutinise details and craft strategies that best serve clients. Drawing from his teaching experience, he approaches each day as an opportunity for growth, recognising the importance of continuous learning in a dynamic field.

Outside of work, Peter indulges his musical inclinations, persistently honing his guitar skills and harbouring a fondness for prog rock. He finds solace and adventure in outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking, and hill walking, often embarking on expeditions along the Southwest Coastal path alongside his wife.

In a charming twist, Peter's romantic side was revealed when he proposed to his wife in a hot air balloon.
